If These Trees Could Talk is an Australian storytelling podcast shaped by memory—the kind held quietly in both land and people. We believe that by exploring the spirit of a place and the depth of nature, we eventually find the hidden maps of our own inner landscapes. Our episodes listen for the stories that linger where they happened, settling into the soil and the roots of the places we pass through without knowing what came before.

We journey through the Canopy, exploring the science of the Australian environment to understand the "silent witnesses" of our landscape. We dig into the Soil, unearthing history and true crime to ask what unfolded in the shadows of the past. We listen for the Echo, investigating the unexplained, Australian mysteries, and the paranormal to understand the intangible feelings that still resonate long after.

From the same roots grows our new program, What Would They Say; a separate but connected space for the stories people carry inside. It centers lived experience, mental health, hardship, shame, resilience, growth and the truths so often left unspoken. It asks the question many live with quietly: What would they say if they knew?

Together, these two branches hold wisdom where it lives; reminding us that stories are not meant to be carried alone. When shared, they soften their weight, offering understanding and validation not just to the teller, but to anyone who recognises themselves within them.

These trees exist as a quiet, connected network, holding space, memory and sharing what is needed — and if they could speak, they would remind us that healing and collective understanding grow the same way.
