What happens when you spend an evening inside one of the Hunter Valley’s most historic and haunted homes, guided by two of Australia’s leading paranormal investigators?
In this episode, we join Anne and Renata from Newcastle Ghost Tours, legends of the Aussie paranormal scene, for an after-dark investigation of Tomago House.
Nestled deep in the wetlands, this grand colonial homestead has seen nearly two centuries of ambition, heartbreak, resilience. Built by barrister and reformer Richard Windeyer, and kept alive by the unbreakable will of his wife Maria, Tomago House is more than a relic of the past. It’s a place where stories linger and, if you listen closely, where whispers of its former residents can still be heard through the silence.
Come with us as we explore the house’s remarkable history, its legacy of justice and survival, and what Anne and Renata’s investigation uncovered when the lights went out.
Tomago isn't just a house with a story, it’s a house that still wants to be heard.
Im am so glad that I didnt research the family prior to our visit. But discovering who they were, who they raised and the impact this family had on the history of our country was an absolute privilege.
