Alex is a Postdoctoral Researcher with The Department of Environment and Genetics at Latrobe University.
Alex’s PHD research explored the role of Superb Lyrebirds as Ecosystem Engineers within the forests of the Victorian Central Highlands.Â
He has worked in conjunction with Birdlife Australia and the World Wildlife Fund on research that studied the impact of Australia’s Black Summer Bushfires. Â
Alex is also an associate member of the Sherbrook Forest Lyrebird Study group.
